Saturday, 16th September 2017, Pen Y Fan, Brecon Beacons
Join Team Tenovus Cancer Care as we climb the highest mountain in South Wales at night time!
Take on this unique challenge and witness the mystical landscapes of beautiful Brecon Beacons from the top of Pen y Fan!
At 886m high and a total of 14 kilometres, this is an amazing opportunity to take on a tough and exciting new challenge, while supporting cancer patients and their loved ones.
What's the route?
We’ll be taking the Southern Horseshoe route, starting from Taf Fechan Forest, which follows the Roman Road up to first ascend Cribyn, then summit Pen y Fan.
We shall return past Corn Du then via Craig Gwaun Taf, Rhiw yr Ysgyfarnog and Graig Fan Ddu.
The trek is 14km in total for the round trip. As the sun begins to rise over the Brecon Beacons we’ll begin our descent and return to Taf Fechan Forest for a big celebration breakfast!
