We're really excited to say the Ospreys have chosen Tenovus Cancer Care as one of their official charity partners!
The two-year partnership was launched this week when our Mobile Support Unit visited the Liberty Stadium.
The partnership will see the Ospreys help to raise both awareness and invaluable additional funding for the us through various events, and by working with commercial partners to find other ways to support our work.
Huw Warren, Head of Commercial, Ospreys Rugby, commented on joining forces with Tenovus Cancer Care: “We’re delighted to have Tenovus Cancer Care as one of our official charities for the upcoming season.
“They’re a Welsh charity, that already has strong links around the region, which was a key factor in our decision to choose them as our official charity partner, and we look forward to working with them to help support their amazing work.
“As well as fundraising by doing things such as bucket collections at games, we’ll be looking to link with our commercial partners to further promote and support Tenovus Cancer Care.”
Claudia McVie, Tenovus Cancer Care Chief Executive, said: “We’re over the moon that the Ospreys have chosen us as their official charity partner. With their support, we’ll be able to let more people know about the support we can offer cancer patients and their loved ones, and help even more people affected by cancer. We’re really looking forward to working together and I’d like to thank them for their support.”
