Eligibility

Any cancer type

This study is the first stage in the development of a storytelling intervention for families that have experienced cancer. The researcher is looking for people who have lived experience of their own or a family member’s cancer diagnosis and treatment, as well as health professionals working in cancer care and storytelling practitioners. This study is open to people over the age of 18 who are in one of the above groups. You do not need any prior experience of storytelling or wellbeing interventions.

Your involvement will consist of completing an online survey. It is expected that the survey will take no more than 25 minutes to complete. There is a possibility that you may be asked to complete a similar survey a few weeks later. All data will be anonymised and only the research team will be able to see your individual responses.

The researchers hope that you will find taking part an interesting experience. Your contribution will help them understand what is important when developing a storytelling intervention for families that experienced cancer.
