Have Your Say! Support the National Strategic Clinical Network for Cancer by completing a survey designed to understand the emotional impact of cancer and the support services available to you.

Llais Cardiff & Vale local project – Living with cancer
Llais Cardiff & Vale have just launched their ‘Living with cancer’ project, and are keen to hear from individuals, families and groups around their experiences of living with cancer, whether they are currently going through treatment or have had past experience of living with cancer. From what Llais have heard, they can make representations to health and social care services, to make them aware of what people think of their services and where improvements can be made.

Join the Largest Study of Melanoma Ever
MyMelanoma is a study designed to research the important current questions about melanoma and its treatment. The questions relate to treatments, the nature of the particular cancers (all cancers are a little bit different), other health matters and to lifestyles. The aim of the study is to collect high quality, detailed information which will be used as a resource by scientists to carry out research to benefit melanoma patients.

Patient and public views on study evaluating the use of bevacizumab and a blood test for the treatment of colorectal cancer
Cardiff University and The Christie NHS Foundation Trust would like to hear from patients with cancer about the design of a research proposal. The study is about the introduction of bevacizumab for the treatment of colorectal cancer and of a blood test for telling doctors whether the treatment is working.

Do you have heartburn or acid reflux?
Researchers from Queen Mary University of London are looking for people to do an interview about acid reflux and cancer screening. We are looking for people aged 55-79 who experience regular heartburn or acid reflux and take medicine to manage the symptoms to take part in a 30-60 minute interview and will provide a £25 voucher to all who take part.
