Offered by our Counselling Team, our Therapeutic Virtual Support Groups via Microsoft Teams is available to anyone affected by cancer living in Wales, aged over 18.

The sessions will be facilitated by two qualified, BACP registered counsellors who are highly experienced in helping people affected by cancer. They will provide a safe space to share your thoughts, experiences and connect with other people affected by cancer.

The groups are a four week programme for 90 minutes each week. They will help participants:

  • Reflect on the impact of cancer on their lives and by sharing experiences with others, learn more about coping with their own or a loved one’s diagnosis.
  • Make meaningful, supportive connections with others who have had a similar experience, improve mood and decrease anxiety and feelings of isolation.
