Will you share your experiences of living with (or caring for someone with) bowel cancer?
The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) are working with the Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation (CISCRP) to find two adults with lived experience of bowel cancer to take part in an online focus group to discuss the design of a clinical trial in bowel cancer.

Adults aged 18 or over who live in the UK and have lived experience, as a patient or carer, of bowel cancer. Participants must be able to access and use an online video meeting platform, such as Zoom and be happy to discuss lived experiences in a group.

Would you like to have your say on what research is funded by Health and Care Research Wales?
Help Health and Care Research Wales (HCRW) review research applications to make sure that their funded projects truly address the real-world needs of patients in Wales. HCRW need your feedback on applications in two categories; finding better ways to diagnose, prevent and treat health issues that are especially relevant to Welsh people; and broader topics such as how to prevent illness and boost overall wellbeing across communities in Wales.

Share your thoughts on prostate cancer screening
The UK National Screening Committee (UK NSC) want to hear your views around screening for prostate cancer. Members of the public are being asked to read external review documents, as well as the UK NSC’s explanation of screening, and then provide thoughts, opinions, and experiences via an online form.

Have you had chemoradiotherapy or radiotherapy treatment for head and neck cancer within the last two years?
Oxford Brookes University need the help of patients and their caregivers (family and friends) to understand what information and support is important immediately after chemoradiotherapy or radiotherapy for head and neck cancer. They want to know from those who are within two years of treatment how a supportive resource should be designed and what would be helpful.

Join the largest study of melanoma ever
MyMelanoma is a study designed to research the important current questions about melanoma and its treatment. The questions relate to treatments, the nature of the particular cancers (all cancers are a little bit different), other health matters and to lifestyles. The aim of the study is to collect high quality, detailed information which will be used as a resource by scientists to carry out research to benefit melanoma patients.

Call for Welsh-speaking volunteers to give feedback on Welsh translations of medical questionnaires for NHS Wales
Iaith mewn Iechyd is a group of volunteer Welsh-speakers who help test Welsh translations of medical questionnaires used across NHS Wales. They are currently looking for Welsh-speaking cancer patients and/or carers to join the group and help test translations of cancer questionnaires by taking part in a short, informal interview with a friendly NHS staff member and providing feedback on the clarity and readability of the Welsh translation.
