Mike Bubbins is a comedian, writer and actor from Barry, South Wales. He has performed throughout the UK, presented his stand-up show Retrosexual Male at the Edinburgh Festival and has appeared in several BBC sitcoms, including Warren, Tourist Trap, The Unexplainers and most recently Mammoth, which he also co-wrote. Away from television, he can regularly be heard on the radio, covering festivals and events on BBC Radio Wales, where he also presented his own show Mike Bubbins: Day Tripper. He also co-hosts the podcast The Socially Distant Sports Bar with fellow Welsh comedian Elis James and sports journalist, Steff Garrero.

 

Our story

Since joining Tenovus Cancer Care as patron in 2022, Mike Bubbins has been a true ambassador, raising awareness of our work during his tours and on his podcast. He's appeared at various Challenge Events including our Walk the Waterfalls event and hosted 'A Night of Comedy and Hwyl' at The Glee Club, Cardiff which raised £15,000 for us.
