Take on the Phoenix, the world’s fastest seated zipwire!You’ll travel at speeds up to 70mph and with four lines situated side by side, you can race friends and family! The first zip line takes you down Rhigos mountain, across the Llyn Fawr reservoir, offering stunning views of the Cynon Valley and enjoying the very fastest speeds, racing into the landing point as you fly above the trees.The second line returns you back to Tower Colliery and the Zip World site, spanning over 1.5 kilometres in total.

Twisting and turning throughout Llechwedd slate quarry, you’ll travel up to an impressive height of 1,400 ft on the area’s incredible manmade mountains, while taking in the sights of the authentic, industrial landscape. After exploring the area dotted with quarry mills and cutting sheds, you’ll kit up - ready for your double zip line descent.Traveling over one kilometre with stunning views of the quarry below and Blaenau Ffestiniog with Snowdonia beyond, you’ll speed back down to earth in a seated position – all the better for enjoying those panoramic vistas.

As one of our brave Zipwire challengers, you’ll receive the very best support from our friendly fundraising team! We will also send a pack to kick your fundraising off in style as well as a Tenovus Cancer Care t-shirt to wear with pride on the day.
