My beloved Chris was a remarkable man: an adored and devoted husband and father, and a highly respected and brilliant research scientist.
Having worked tirelessly throughout his life to discover new drugs to treat many diseases, including cancer, he tragically succumbed to oesophageal cancer himself after an eight month battle with the disease. He was the kindest, most thoughtful and generous man I ever met. A genius in his field, yet humble with it. The best husband, father and friend a person could ever have. He enriched the lives of everyone who met him and those of us who loved him miss him desperately every day. He was a great supporter of Tenovus, hence my decision to make them the chosen charity for donations. Maria x
