An evening on board our Mobile Support Unit

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming a host of local supporters to a unique evening on board one of our Mobile Support Units.

The out of hours event offered an exclusive opportunity to see first-hand how our Mobile Support Units provide cancer treatment in the heart of communities across Wales and for our generous supporters to experience the impact of their support.

Lowri Griffiths, Director of Support, Policy, and Insight at Tenovus Cancer Care reinforced our aspiration to give help, hope, and a voice to everyone affected by cancer and presented an update how we are driving change here in Wales.

We were also joined by special guest, Welsh commentator and former rugby player Brynmor Williams. After sharing inspiring stories and recounting his days with Welsh Rugby and Lions Teams, he extended his appreciation to everyone within the charity for the services and support offered to people affected by cancer. Brynmor sadly lost is sister to cancer and understands the importance of our work.

To everyone that joined us – diolch. Thank you for attending but also for your continued support in helping us achieve our vision.

Thank you to Brynmor Williams, Blakemore for the refreshments and Dr Organic for the goody bags gifted to our supporters.
