It’s been a whole 12 months since we launched our online shop. Over the last 365 days, we have featured over 750 products, ranging from cards and stationery, well-being, homeware, garden accessories and more, all hand-selected by our online trading team.
Our products have proved very popular, with many of them appearing in magazines, including Woman’s Own, Modern Gardens, Your Home and Prima. This has been a great help in helping us raise awareness of the shop and the charity. Our aim is to be there for everyone affected by cancer, today, tomorrow and beyond and our online shop helps us achieve this.
Every penny spent in our online shop goes a long way. We receive 100% of the profits on every sale which keeps our three Mobile Support Units on the road, our communities singing with our Sing with Us Choirs and our Nurse-led Support Line open 365 days a year. It also supports our Benefits Advice and our Counselling Service, including our newly launched and free Therapeutic Virtual Support Groups.
We are incredibly grateful to every single customer who has not only bought an item from the shop during our first year but who has also donated to Tenovus Cancer Care at checkout. Your generosity is very much appreciated.
Looking ahead to the next few months, we are working hard behind the scenes getting everything in place for Halloween and Christmas, where there will be something for everyone’s budget, with gifts from £3.99 and packs of Christmas cards from £2.99.
