We are delighted to announce a new partnership with London Welsh Rugby Club. This collaboration will unite both organisations in a shared mission to raise vital funds and awareness to support people affected by cancer throughout Wales and beyond.
Through this partnership, Tenovus Cancer Care will work closely with London Welsh to train community champions who will deliver awareness talks and presentations to those connected to the rugby club. These talks will highlight the signs and symptoms of cancer, ensuring players and supporters are well-informed and have access to the charity’s services, available both within and outside of Wales.
In addition, the club will actively engage its players and fans in the club's fundraising efforts throughout the year. This will include collections, raffles, fitness challenges, and various events designed to support our vital work.
London Welsh RFC is a community-focused rugby club based in Richmond, London. The club prides itself on being a welcoming and inclusive community for both Welsh exiles and local residents. Run by dedicated volunteers, it aims to provide a professional minded environment for players of all levels, offering high-quality coaching and a strong emphasis on player welfare and support.
