Rugby player, Hannah Jones, joins as Patron

We are delighted to announce our new patron, Hannah Jones!

Born in Swansea, Hannah Jones has always had a passion for sports, with rugby being her favourite. She attended Hartpury University, where she studied sports therapy, and now plays for Gloucester Rugby.

Having worked her way up through age-graded rugby in Wales, she currently has 57 caps to her name and captains the Welsh team.

I’m proud to become a Patron of Tenovus Cancer Care because it’s a wonderful Welsh organization that supports local people and their families through difficult times. My aunt passed away from bowel cancer, and I wasn’t aware of the support available at that time. I want to give back to this charity, especially after seeing my sister survive cancer and go through so much.”

A quote I live by is, “Fall seven times, stand up eight.” It reminds me to keep going and never give up. The path to success or any goal in life isn’t straightforward—there will be challenges, but it’s important to keep pushing forward and always give your best and enjoy the journey as much as you can.”

When not on the rugby field, Hannah enjoys being with family and friends, walking her dog Luna, and visiting her partner’s ice cream parlour for some gelato.
