Men (55-79 years old) and women (65-79 years) who regularly take medicine to manage their acid reflux

What do participants need to do: Interview

Location: Telephone, video call or in person (can either come to your home or a community location near you).

Queen Mary University of London are looking for people with acid reflux to share their views on a new screening test that might be offered to people with reflux in the future. 

They are looking for:  

  • Men (aged 55-79)
  • Women (aged 65-79)  
  • People who are currently taking medication for acid reflux at least twice a week (either over the counter or prescription) and have been for at least 6 months. The medicine can be over the counter e.g. Rennie's/Gaviscon, or prescription e.g. Omeprezole

The study involves a one off 30-60 minute interview.  

Interviews can take place in person (in community locations near you or your home), by telephone or by video call.  

You will receive a £25 voucher and travel expenses if needed for taking part 

They are especially interested in hearing from people living Wales at the moment as they are keen to ensure your voices are captured in this study.
