You can make a real difference by:
- helping prioritise what research is important.
- deciding how research happens through contributing to the planning of a study.
- advising on the way in which the research is delivered and,
- offering suggestions on how the research is put into practice
What will I need to do to get involved?
Register to join the public involvement community at Health and Care Research Wales.
Who can take part?
Anybody who has an interest in health and social care research. All involvement opportunities are voluntary.
How long will it take?
As much or as little time as you want. There are a range of involvement opportunities to choose from.
Will I get paid?
Some opportunities may also include an offer of payment for time. They may include an offer for subsistence such as food, travel, and accommodation, which will be agreed prior to the opportunity starting.
If you require carer support to undertake an opportunity this may also be funded by agreement prior to starting the opportunity.
