Setting up your Virtual Collection is really easy and will only take a few minutes. Every penny will help support cancer patients and their families.

Promoting your Virtual Collection
As your Virtual Collection is online, the best way to promote is through your social media – Facebook, Instragram, Twitter.
Your page is ready to share as soon as it is set up through Just Giving and posting about it regularly will help to keep those donations coming in. Remember to ask friends and family to share it too! And don’t forget to post it in any groups you are part of to make sure you let everyone know about the money you are trying to raise.
Top tips to maximise your donations
Start off your collection!
If you can spare some change then why not donate a few pounds to your own collection? It will get the ball rolling and encourage others to do the same.
Keep your supporters updated.
Why not post a daily update on your collection page to keep your supporters informed of your progress and how the money is helping us. Our website contains lots of information on our services and our Facebook page is updated daily and full of reasons why your support is important more now then ever!

Say Thank You!
When someone donates, say thank you. Pop a post on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and tag them in. This is a great way to thank them for their donation and increase the opportunity for people to see your page.
Get the whole family involved.
Are the kids bored? Is your partner looking for something to do? Ask them to spread the word through their social media and help increase those important donations!!
Have fun! Go crazy! Dress up!
A Virtual Collection is an amazing way to raise money by doing something you love over a long period of time! You could do a 24 hour readathon, cookathon, knitathon, singathon or colourathon! The options are endless. You can even get the kids involved and make it a family activity!
Whatever you are doing post pictures or funny videos in your page, or on social media to entertain your friends and family. You could pledge to do a challenge or dare once you’ve hit a certain amount!
