Why am I needed?
Walk the Walk’s MoonWalk London is a spectacular night. Thousands of people will dress the part as they walk the Full Moon (26.2 miles) or Half Moon Plus (15.1) to raise money, and to change the lives of people affected by breast cancer across the country. We’re getting involved as Walk the Walk are great friends of Tenovus Cancer Care. More details on the MoonWalk and Walk the Walk’s amazing work is here: https://walkthewalk.org/
This is similar to cheering people on at the London Marathon, though with more neon and at a more unique event! The bulk of the role would be the same, cheering people on, with some giving directions/helping them cross the busier roads which can’t be closed. Experienced support will be on hand throughout the night.
